We're always looking to raise the bar at Golf Business Forum. An important component of that is ensuring we continue to bring you content that really matters. Content that's relevant, timely and important to the golf business community. With that in mind, we recently conducted our first ever Content Survey, in conjunction with our Foundation Partner Golf Australia.

The insights from the survey (and there were plenty), will be used to shape the agenda for our 2020 Forum. A huge thanks to the 113 people who took part.

We also had some terrific suggestions throughout our qualitative data, with some of the key areas of focus being:

Case studies showcasing success stories, innovation and creativity, across a variety of business models and organisation sizes.

The future golfer - How our changing behaviours will impact the industry moving forward. What does the 2030 golfer look like? How will golf membership evolve?

Focus on changing long held traditional perceptions towards golf, with a focus on embracing change and innovation.

Ian Pritchard takes out the inaugural Content Survey prize.

I am looking forward to attending the 2020 Golf Business Forum. This forum provides an in-depth view and delivers golf industry trends to help improve my business. I would encourage all of my peers, if they are able, to attend this event as it would be beneficial to them and their business.
— Ian Pritchard

A PGA Member for 29 years and long standing Head Professional at Mount Osmond Golf Club (SA), Ian is certainly no stranger to the golf business industry. Having completed his apprenticeship back in 1990 under renowned PGA Professional Steven Bann, Ian has gone on to become a highly successful Pro, winning South Australia’s Club Professional of the Year in 2014, ‘15 & ‘16, and the PGA National Club Professional of the year in 2015.

Chatting to Ian, his passion for teaching and growing the game is obvious. “I enjoy my role as a Club Professional, interacting with all golfers, improving their skills and making their experience at Mt Osmond Golf Club an exciting and pleasurable one. My Pro shop and my staff provide great customer service, expert advice and extended knowledge on anything golf related. I enjoy teaching golf and developing players of all different levels and ages. I strongly encourage Junior Golf Programs at Mt Osmond Golf Club, as they are the future of the game.”

Congratulations on the win, Ian. We look forward to seeing you at Golf Business Forum 2020.
